Looking For A Place
by Chamber Of Vestibules
I’m looking for a place in society
Looking for a place in hell
I’m looking for where I’m supposed to be
But I don’t see very well
Life’s supposed to fit me just like a glove
And bring joy to my heart
It’s supposed to make me celebrate
S’posed to be state-of-the art
Well you better not ask if you have to ask
Better not go to sleep
Keep walking on down that road
And you better not need to breathe
Singer asked us all to give peace a chance
They took him off the stage
Preacher said we’ll burn in hell
And set this world ablaze
Love’s supposed to make it all worthwhile
When last our labors cease
It’s supposed to help us live together
From sea to shining sea
Well you better not ask if you have to ask
You better not go to sleep
Keep walking on down that road
And you better not need to breathe
I’m looking for a place in society
Looking for a place in hell
I’m looking for where I'm s’posed to be
But I don’t see very well
Well you better not ask if you have to ask
Better not go to sleep
Keep walking on down that road
And you better not need to breathe
